I am an incoming PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Arizona, starting August 2026, where I will be advised by Dr. Zhuolin Yang. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) with a CGPA of 3.80, graduating with High Distinction.
My research interests lie in mobile computing, usable security, and applied machine learning. I am particularly interested in understanding security and privacy risks in sensor-rich mobile systems and developing data-driven methods to analyze them. I am currently working on an acoustic side-channel keystroke inference project using smartphone sensor and microphone data. My previous work includes projects on BGP data analysis and Internet shutdown detection, LLM-based PDF data extraction, protein mutation localization using language models, and donation scam detection on social media.
Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) under Dr. Zafar Ayyub Qazi. I have also collaborated with researchers at RIPE.
